To prevent and relieve poverty through initiating and facilitating care support and relief assistance to local, national and international communities in Scotland and oversees. This is paired with advancing active citizenship and increasing capacity building for humanitarian participation and empowerment for the diverse communities: utilising community development and a human rights based approach to developing and delivering initiatives and programs, which help advance equality, humanity, community cohesion and proactive citizenship as well as responsive participation opportunities in humanitarian aid, care and relief locally, nationally and internationally where needed.
To advance heritage and culture, through promoting and delivering cultural and learning programs that celebrate intangible cultural heritage for the diverse communities via developing and delivering festivals, cultural events and seminars, and initiating intercultural dialogue programs that help act as platforms to promote humanity and equal care frameworks of proactive citizenship. This can be inspired further through promoting and facilitating cultural, educational, social, and empowerment initiatives and programs.
To promote race equality and diversity through empowering the diverse communities and advocating shared experiences and inclusive programs and activities that authorise equal representation for these diverse communities in society at all levels while celebrating our multicultural Scotland and assisting in removing barriers that hinder and disadvantage these communities from pursuing active citizenship in society as a whole.
